Start with a plan.
Make room for the details.

A practical guide to planning your event, photo shoot, or production at Park Studios 101.

You don’t need every answer before you reach out. Bring us your idea, a preferred date or flexible dates, and a rough sense of your group. We’ll discuss your needs and check availability.

Choose Walkthrough in the inquiry form and share a few preferred visit times. An inquiry or walkthrough request does not reserve a date.

A short brief goes a long way.

Use these prompts when you contact us. Estimates, flexible dates, and “undecided” are welcome.

  • Purpose: What are you planning—an event, photography session, production, or walkthrough?
  • Dates: What is your preferred date? Can you consider another date?
  • People: About how many guests, participants, vendors, or crew members would be present?
  • Time: How long do you need, including arrival, setup, the event or shoot, cleanup, and load-out?
  • Layout: Describe how people will use the room—seated conversation, a workshop, a celebration, a photo set, or another arrangement.
  • Equipment and vendors: List what you plan to bring and anything you need the venue to provide.
  • Access needs: Tell us about mobility needs, deliveries, large equipment, or other practical requirements.
  • Questions: What would help you decide whether the space fits your plan?

Plan the whole rental window.

Think from first arrival to final departure, rather than only the time guests attend or cameras roll. Include setup, vendor arrivals, breaks, packing, and cleanup in your requested hours.

This is a planning example, not an available time slot, rental package, minimum, or promise that four hours will suit your event. Ask us about the hours and terms that apply to your purpose.

Get these details confirmed.

Room and setup

Ask about suitability and capacity for your specific layout, available furniture and quantities, patio access, permitted setup changes, and what is included in your quote.

Arrival and access

Ask about parking, entrance access, stairs, deliveries, load-in and load-out, and any accommodations your guests or crew need.

Quote and terms

Ask for the complete rental quote, applicable fees, setup time, payment and confirmation steps, and cancellation or rescheduling terms.

Food and vendors

Before hiring vendors, confirm any requirements for catering, food, beverages, decor, deliveries, insurance, or cleanup.

Sound and power

For amplified events or recording, discuss sound requirements, equipment, power needs, and any limits before committing to a plan.

Photography and production

Discuss the shot list, crew and talent count, equipment, natural-light timing, audio needs, and whether the project needs exclusive access.

See the website’s published studio information and rates, then ask us to confirm the details and full quote for your request.

Make your walkthrough useful.

Bring a simple layout idea, a list of equipment or vendors, and your biggest questions. Check the room from the perspective of the people who will use it: where will guests arrive, where will you set up, and how will you move equipment in and out?

For a shoot, share reference images or a shot list. For a gathering, describe seating, activities, refreshments, and the flow of the day. We’ll discuss what fits and what needs clarification.

Walkthroughs must be arranged with our team. Park Studios 101 is a private facility; do not arrive without an arranged visit.

Ready to talk through your idea?

Send your planning brief or choose Walkthrough in the inquiry form. We’ll discuss your needs and verify availability before confirming a rental. Submitting a request does not reserve the space, confirm a date, or take payment.
